What it is

A.L.I.C.E. Capture

A multi-camera recording and production workflow application with script-aware teleprompting, session organization, external media intake, and optional AI planning tools.

Problem / need

The operational or technical need

Bring multi-camera capture, script and teleprompting support, session organization, and external media intake into a practical production workflow instead of treating them as disconnected tasks.

Solution

How the project addresses it

A.L.I.C.E. Capture combines those production functions in a macOS application designed around repeatable recording sessions and production organization.

Key capabilities

What the project includes

  • Multi-camera recording workflows
  • Script-aware teleprompting
  • Session organization
  • External media intake
  • Optional AI-assisted planning tools
  • Continued releases and product iteration

My role

Product, systems, integration, and delivery ownership

I defined product requirements and product decisions, directed the application architecture and workflow, integrated and evaluated implementation work, tested real behavior, investigated defects and regressions, iterated features, and took the product through App Store delivery and continued releases.

Technologies / methods

Tools and approaches used

  • Swift
  • Xcode
  • macOS
  • Media workflows
  • AI-assisted development
  • QA / regression testing
  • App Store publishing

Development process

AI-assisted, critically evaluated, and tested

Development is heavily AI-assisted. I use ChatGPT and Codex for architecture exploration, code generation and review, debugging, root-cause analysis, testing, and documentation. I critically evaluate and test the output and remain responsible for requirements, architecture and product decisions, integration, validation, troubleshooting, and delivery.
